Management Committee Members
The Management Committee is made up of volunteers. It is responsible for the day to day running of the village hall together with the recreation field. To cover the running costs, the Committee gets income mainly from the hiring of the Main Hall and Pavilion. However to enable the facilities it provides to be updated and improved more income is needed and this is provided by the Committee’s fund raising activities. These consist of the Village Fete and, at the moment, two dinner dance evenings during the year.
The management committee meets at the Memorial Hall on the last Wednesday of the month normally at 8:00pm. No meetings are held in August and December. The Annual General Meeting is held in April and all Motcombe residents are welcome.
